Presentation Kukri. This is a stunning example of a Kukri awarded to an officer for long service in the Ghurka Regiment,(Known as a banging out parade gift.) The blade has an ornate design called butta to the khol. The handle is made from buffalo horn with brass kanzo and fulla. The wooden sheath is covered in red velvet with pierced in white metal depicting peacocks and floral design and crossed kukri's in yellow metal, complete with karda and chakmak. A photograph album containing images of the careers of two serving ghurk's including rights of passage ceremonies. Also included is an 18k gold kukri broach.
